Luis Garcia is a United States Air Force veteran and is currently an Associate Editor for Echo Magazine. He is a member of the Phoenix Crystal methamphetamine task force 2008, Arizona Solar Energy Association, Phoenix Census 2010 Complete Count Committee and am a former PC in district 16.

On November 15, 2008 he helped to organize a massive rally protesting the passage of Prop. 102. After the rally, he co-founded Human & Equal Right Organizers (H.E.R.O.), a grassroots group of community organizers committed to organizing and motivating the community, planning actions, and fighting for the human, civil and equal rights for all. He is a lifelong community organizer/activist and will soon be appointed to the Encanto Village Planning Committee.
